Adele was approached to be the artist to sing the theme song of Skyfall. The song she came up with was released on the 5th of October,
the song is now available on itunes for only 99p, this is very cheap in comparison
with other singles including Adele’s other songs that are available on itunes,
the positive for the song being able to purchase at such a low price is that a
lot of people are likely to buy the single which will make them aware of the
movie and will encourage them to watch it. The song was quickly made famous and
reached number 1 in the UK
and number 8 in the states. Adele is currently at her peak in her career and having
her sing the theme tune is great publicity for Skyfall. This video on youtube has currently got 61,186,863 and is currently increasing.
